The Lowdown on Blogger Events

I’m sure you can already guess what this post is about from the title, so here is my take on what really goes down at all the blogger events I attend. Surprisingly, this was a highly requested post. Possibly because these events come off as a super exclusive and you only see the pretty instagrammable photos that are posted as a result… but really goes on…?

Perfect Holiday Sweater

There’s nothing I love more than finding that perfect sweater. I am loving this off the shoulder sweater from Tobi, shop by clicking here. I love the maroon color because it is perfect for the holiday season, but the sweater also is available in tan and charcoal.

My photographer, Dom, and I took a stroll around The Grove while shooting this look. The Grove is decked out for Christmas, so if you live in LA I highly suggest going to check it out. I hear it even snows there :O

Shop my sweater here, shop the rest of my look below.

Leather Squared

Sharing one of my favorite classic looks, leather on leather + one my feature in Voyage LA Magazine.

Up until this week, the only jacket I needed this winter was a leather jacket. My love for the leather J began when I lived in San Francisco, where it was consistently freezing and necessary to wear. I have carried that love down to LA, where it isn't always necessary to wear since the average temp is like 80 degrees. Anyways long story short, I love leather jackets. I love pairing them with some other piece of leather as well. In this look, I paired my leather booties, bag and Gucci belt. You can never have enough leather I say.

The jeans I am wearing are one of my favorites atm (short for at the moment, hi mom). They are by Miss Me and can be found, here. I am wearing a 26.

Also, check out my feature on Voyage LA Magazine. It's an honor to be published as on of LA's most gifted influencers.

Also also, if you want a look a like gucci belt, here's the link. I obviously don't feel great about sharing a knock off, but I also feel like paying $400 for a belt isn't for everyone.

Casual Valentine's

Casual Valentine's in the cutest Jing Limted Helen Turtleneck Sweater.

Valentine's Week is here! I hope you have your outfit picked out. If you''re going somewhere casual like a movie, bowling, chill dinner or night in, a red sweater like this one from Jing Limited, is the perfect option. Pair with blue, black or white denim and some booties and you have yourself a casual Valentines look.

Valentines Day has so many expectations that come along with it, but I can honestly say I've never had a Valentines Day that has lived up to my expectations. Most everyone I know, whether in a relationship or not, are not doing anything special this year... In my opinion, Valentines should be extra and over the top. Everyone's excuse is "I don't need a day to show someone how much I care for them, I care for them and show them all the time" WRONG. More often than not, this statement is wrong. It's nice to have a day to appreciate one another and be together. So I believe in Valentines and being extra. Sorry not sorry. Do you agree?
