A few of the many photos I took in NYC. This was only my second time in the Big Apple so most of my time was spent sight seeing. Most of the time I was snapping pictures with my iPhone, and moving along to the next attraction. Here is what we mainly covered in the four days we were there.

DAY 1: Brunch at Walters in Brooklyn, walk across the Brooklyn Bridge, 9/11 Memorial Pools, Happy Hour at Sel Rrose, Drinks at a SpeakEasy in the Lower East Side.

DAY 2: Lunch at Shake Shack, Natural History Museum, Stroll through Central Park, Upper East Side, Times Square.

DAY 3: Myrinda's Birthday Brunch at Buvette, the best waffle sandwich I've ever had, Shop in the East Village, Chelsea Market, Soho, Meatpacking, Drinks and Cheese Fries at Gansevoort Hotel, Dinner at Print in Hell's Kitchen, Drinks on Rooftop Bar at Gansevoort.

DAY 4: Brunch at Cafe Mogador in Brooklyn, Explore Williamsburg shops, Sweets fromBakeri, Walk the High Line, Fashion District, and to end our trip with garlic knots and PIZZA from the famous John's Pizzeria in Times Square!

The trip went by so incredibly fast and I can not wait to go back!

This past weekend my parents surprised me with a day trip to Monterey, California. I love escaping to the coast and growing up in the Central Valley made Monterey a frequent weekend getaway. There’s so much to do all over Monterey but our favorite spots include Lovers Point Park, where most of these photos were taken, Cannery Row, the tourist-y area, and Rosine’s, a family owned restaurant downtown with amazing desserts that my parents have been dining at since before I was born! Needless to say, anytime I get to visit Monterey I always have an enjoyable time.

Lovers Point Park made for a perfect backdrop for a fun Valentine’s shoot! Lovers Point Park has become Pacific Grove's best-loved spot for picnics and scenic photography. Because of its unique east-facing location, it is also one of the only spots on the West Coast where you can watch the sun rise over the water. I was surprised there wasn’t a wedding happening while we were there since it was so close to Valentine’s Day.

Speaking of Valentine’s Day, my one and only thought on this day is do something you love. Whether it be spending time with someone you love or completely ignoring everyone and taking a personal you day, just do something that makes YOU happy. Since I have been single for most Valentine’s Day’s I have learned to always make the best of it and treat myself.

I hope everyone enjoys their day of love!

Happy Valentine’s Day <3

San Francisco will alway have a special place in my heart. Living in the city for four years during college were some of the best years of my life. I met the greatest people and had the beautiful city as my back yard. The vibe of this city is unlike any other place in the world and I truly feel blessed to have lived in such an amazing place. Although I hadn't visited SF in over ten months as soon as I got back it was as if nothing changed, I picked up right where I left off with friends and had great 48 hours. Brunch, Bluegrass and Blogging all took place and I can't wait to go back in a couple weeks.
