It’s no surprise that fall is my favorite season. I love the colder weather, warm autumn colors, pumpkin everything and of course the fashion. BUT there’s one thing I absolutely hate about fall…. the scary movies! I mean, I’ll watch them if forced but I will have about 8 internal panic attacks during, before and after. AND I’ll hide my eyes when things get scary…. yes, I still cover my eyes during the scary parts at age 26, judge me. I prefer Halloweentown over any scary movie!
My favorite part about fall is, hands down, the fashion. I am a oversized sweater paired with some over the knee boots kinda girl. It’s obviously too warm in LA to wear an oversized sweater right now, so I improvised. To get into the fall spirit I wore my favorite fall suede skirt that I got about five years ago. This skirt is from Abercrombie and Fitch and I bought it with my employee discount when I used to be a manager at the Universal CityWalk store. This skirt is my fall ride or die - I wear it every year, with boots, tights, shirts tucked in or with an oversized sweater, it’s a fall staple. I linked some similar ones below. I paired this skirt with a midi turtleneck TopShop top and my Steve Madden over the knee boots. My bag and hat are the perfect additions to pull this outfit together. Try adding a newsboy hat to your outfit this fall - it really amps up the look!
Do you like scary movies? Do you occasionally throw on a newsboy hat? Let me know in the comments below.
