Sunday at the Skirball is always a Sunday well spent. The Skirball for those of you who aren't familiar is a museum and cultural center in Los Angeles. Right now one of my all time favorite artists Roy Lichtenstein, has a exhibit on display! Pop For The People By Roy Lichtenstein showcases how he made fine art accessible to the American public. A walk through the exhibit takes you through his journey of recreating Monet's, Picasso's and even his comic book and interior series. The work you can see in just these two rooms alone is historic and breathtaking. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in LA. And as an added bonus Lichtenstein's re-imagination of Vincent Van Gogh's The Bedroom is brought to life in a three- dimensional form and you can be inside of a Lichtenstein! I hope everyone had an amazing weekend! Sorry for being a few days late with March Madness <3
