Blogmas Re-Cap 16-20

Whoops. I took the weekend off from posting everyday for Blogmas, but for some v good reasons.... here's how my weekend went down:

Friday Night, River and I got a special delivery of a new marble coffee table and end table for my living room from my roommates parents! I cant wait to show you guys, it's literally the most perfect piece for our living space. It's mostly black and has streaks of lighter marble running through (follow along on my instagram story @emilymemig to see it first). Once that was delivered, we visited and I then I was off to bed because......

Saturday I had a meeting at Alfred's Coffee to cover the Paige X Alfred collab. I am so obsessed with the coffee sleeves, if you live nearby I highly suggest grabbing a latte just for the cute sleeves with holiday sayings like, 'you sleigh me', Ugh so perf, I am obsessed! Then off to Beverly Hills to shoot literally all day. The picture for this blog post is a sneak peak at my favorite holiday look from the shoot! The burgundy lace dress is perfect for Christmas! ....stay tuned for more on this look! Once River and I were finished shooting we had a date night at Sotto LA. We booked a last minute reservation and had an amazing dinner! They have a marinara pizza, which is pizza without cheese (because I am not a fan of cheese at all!) and I was in heaven! River also ordered us some cannoli's which were amazing - mostly because I couldn't taste the cheese :P

Once we left dinner and got back to the crib - I fell asleep right at 9:30pm - YES I fell asleep that early! I guess my body was telling me I needed some rest, and I didn't deny. Working a full 40 hours and working full time on the blog can be exhausting - so I needed the R&R.

Sunday morning we had a brunch date with one of my friends from out of town in Santa Monica - then it was straight to shooting River for his blog, check it out HERE! I went live on instagram during his shoot for a little BTS action, so thanks to everyone who joined, I will be doing a live BTS of me as well! Then later we met up with River's friends, The Luxe Travelers in DTLA. We sipped on some wine, and talked all things business and travel! It was nice to meet up with them as they pass through LA on their way to Bali - hopefully we'll see them when we go! (Yes, we are planning a trip to Bali!)

Once we settled in at home, we just enjoyed some company of friends at my apartment and left our blogs to the following day (today).

Sometimes it's nice to unplug and enjoy the company around you. Although I wanted to post everyday until Christmas, I am not upset whatsoever, because one of my favorite things about this month is spending time with others, and I am so glad I took the time to enjoy the weekend!

What did you do this weekend? Leave a comment below - and see you tomorrow ;)
