October is finally here! I cannot even begin to express to you how excited I am! The weather begins to cool down which allow us to dress almost any way we would like, pumpkin spice lattes are an everyday occurrence, the leaves changes colors, football begins, pumpkin pies, pumpkin candles, PUMPKIN EVERYTHING, no more “summer bod” (lol), and togetherness with family and friends seems more appropriate because the holidays are near. I could just go on and on about fall. I’ll be blogging more often during these next couple of months because the 1000 degree weather will be gone and I’ll be able to enjoy myself when shooting (instead of sweating). This past weekend I went to Melrose with my good friend and fashion blogger Leah,(click here for her blog) and during our shoot we were sweating, irritated, and annoyed because, I kid you not, the temperature was 100 degrees. We kept saying to one another was how we couldn’t wait to shoot during the fall because the weather will be cooler. We wandered around to Alfred Coffeeand Urth Caffe to take breaks from the heat and fuel up! But despite the heat we still were able to shoot some fall inspired looks! Links for all the pieces at the bottom! I am wearing a 70’s inspired boho crop top from NastyGal and a faux suede button down A-line skirt from Abercrombie. The black booties are BCBG and I am so obsessed with these! They’re super comfortable and the perfect height, not to tall and not too short. The envelope clutch is from Forever 21 and I don’t think they carry this exact one anymore but I’ll add a link to a similar one. To check out Leah’s look head over to her blog! I absolutely love and respect Leah’s style, it’s very similar to my own. She has an eye for all things chic and sophisticated!
